Find Care Compare founder Roxanne Stevenson-Brown pitched the company at the 2025 Demo Day hosted by The Scholars Fund, a venture network supporting Schwarzman Scholars building transformative companies.
The Scholars Fund (TSF) connects Schwarzman Scholar founders with seed and Series A capital, industry expertise, and a global community of investors and operators. Its annual Demo Day showcases high-growth, venture-scalable startups emerging from the Schwarzman Scholars network.
Find Care Compare was selected to present as part of the 2025 cohort of founder-led ventures.
The 2025 Demo Day brought together investors and operators supporting early-stage Schwarzman Scholar founders.

What Is The Scholars Fund?
The Scholars Fund supports Schwarzman Scholars who are building venture-backed, scalable businesses across industries.
The fund is part of the broader Schwarzman Scholars ecosystem — a global leadership programme based at Schwarzman College, Tsinghua University, in Beijing.
Each year, 150 scholars join a network of more than 1,000 alumni spanning technology, finance, public service, healthcare, and entrepreneurship. The Scholars Fund exists to strengthen the entrepreneurial pipeline within this global network.
While The Scholars Fund is not formally affiliated with the university or programme, it was created to support founders emerging from this community.
Presenting Find Care Compare on a Global Stage
At the 2025 Demo Day, founders presented venture-scale companies across sectors including artificial intelligence, infrastructure, financial technology, and healthcare.
Find Care Compare’s pitch focused on the structural challenges within the UK healthcare system, including:
- Fragmented access to NHS and private services
- Long and variable NHS waiting times
- Limited transparency around referral pathways
- Information asymmetry as a driver of healthcare inequality
The company outlined its vision to become the UK’s front door to healthcare — a neutral comparison platform helping patients navigate services with clarity and confidence.
From Schwarzman Scholar to Healthtech Founder
The Schwarzman Scholars programme was founded by Stephen A. Schwarzman, Chairman and CEO of Blackstone, to prepare global leaders for an increasingly interconnected world.
Participating in The Scholars Fund Demo Day reflects Find Care Compare’s ambition to operate at the intersection of healthcare, technology, and systems-level reform.
As a UK healthtech startup scaling nationally, presenting to a global investor network marked an important step in expanding strategic relationships beyond the UK market.
Building Venture-Scale Healthcare Infrastructure
The Scholars Fund supports founders building transformative, venture-scalable companies.
Find Care Compare’s mission — improving access, transparency, and navigation across NHS and private healthcare — aligns with that ambition.
Healthcare navigation is increasingly recognised as infrastructure. Improving clarity within the UK healthcare system is not simply a product problem; it is a systems design challenge.
Demo Day provided an opportunity to share this thesis with a global community of investors and operators committed to supporting Schwarzman Scholar founders.
